My daughter could not have been more excited to start learning cursive when she saw the cover of these beautiful books. We are only about halfway through book one, but I am very happy with the content and the ease of learning they make on each page. They keep it interesting With Dash and Dot, and if you have a child who loves horses, you cannot go wrong with this curriculum!
We LOVE all Dash products! I can’t say enough good things about them! It’s so fun having the familiar friends come along with us on our reading and spelling journey!
My child is excited about using this handwriting book. She enjoys the extra activities inside and how it corresponds with her reading books. It's a great deal and easy to print on black/ white. Great product!
Easy for kids to do on their own. Gives step by step instructions. My daughter asks to do her writing.
I’ve only been using this with my daughter for about two weeks and I’ve seen improvement. She asks to do her handwriting! I love that there’s a pdf option
I bought the emotional resilience set after I realized that my daughter would minimize moments of sadness. I wanted her to learn that expressing her emotions is ok and that we all have ways of experiencing them. She was thrilled when the collection arrived in the mail and recognized the fairy tale references immediately. We read the first book together and played a game to review the emotions in "Three Little Bears." She was engaged and appropriately identified physiological reactions to emotions. The story opened up opportunities to discuss how the characters changed through the story and the variety of emotions we all experience. I will certainly continue with the set!
This has big such a big help with helping my daughter read. I love that it shows you how you can help them read. My daughter started this a month ago and she’s already on her second book. I’m a proud mom thanks so much to Dash into learning for this
I love how this is laid out and the beautiful pictures inside. It is engaging for all of my children.
My kindergartener hates printing exercises but is really enjoying this handwriting course.
These books were shared with us by a reading tutor & I have 4 kids & my youngest is just learning to read. I’ve bought all the beginner reading books but these are by far the best in the way they are structured! So happy with our purchase & hope to pass along to my grand kids one day ✨
We live Dash and were so excited for spelling to launch and it did not disappoint! So simple and beautifully made.
I cannot say enough good things about these books! My older girls love them and I plan on using them for my two younger boys too! They are very easy to teach and the Illistrations are so cute! The stories are engaging for my girls as well and keep their interest in reading till the end.
I don't know how much longer it would have taken my child to read had it not been for these books. There is nothing else out there that even comes close in comparison! Thank you for making these❤️
This handwriting program has helped my twins come so far in their handwriting. It's simple yet effective. They loved the activities that were also included! We have used all three books with great success!
Book 3 is my favorite in the cursive series. It has a nice blend of practice with letters, words and phrases and is set up with an option for tracing over solid phrases and independent practice on the lines. My child found all the starting dots frustrating as her letters would overlap with the starting dots while she was learning.
Book 2 is uppercase and then some words and phrases. Most of the words offer independent practice, while the phrases are tracing. The cursive series has characters, but the first two books don’t follow the reading books like the print series does. Book 3 does offer activities that align with the third set in the reading series.
We used these more as an activity book than a handwriting curriculum. The first book follows the reading program books, with the same characters and even some lines from the books. I do wish the pages offered variety in the support. All the sentences include dots so it’s more of a tracing, but it would be nice to have a page offered with just the lines. My child did not enjoy the starting dots offered on the pages, so we used a different handwriting program.
These books are darling. I purchased these books for my daughter and she has loved learning to read because of the illustrations alone. Its simple and easy to follow along. We enjoy the activity packs that come with it. Nothing bad to say about the curriculum!
The poems are nice and the books are high quality. The activity books could be improved. Each book has a specific level of handwriting support, but I believe each book should have all levels as children may be at different levels with reading and writing.
My child loved these readers. The second set had fun stories. We didn’t follow the dash sequence, as we were using another reading system and supplementing with Dash. I got them as a gift for my niece and she also loved the books!
We tried several early readers and these were my child’s favorites! The stories are engaging and the characters repeat throughout the series. We did not use them as a phonics program, but it seem like a nice system.
My daughter is working on her first set currently and is enjoying learning to read them.
My son absolutely loves his cursive handwriting books. These books have encouraged him to have excellent cursive handwriting. All the lessons are short, gentle, and effective. I would highly recommend this cursive curriculum.
These books are so straight forward and the illustrations are beautiful. Choosing a program to teach my oldest how to read was daunting but I am so happy with my choice. My son and I are both happy with it! I had some push back early on in using these books but after he progressed enough to start reading the stories he really came to enjoy it. Also, waiting until my son was six to start anything formal for phonics and reading was a huge blessing. He would not have been ready and it would have been a much bigger struggle if I had tired this any earlier. Thank you for making such a beautiful reading program!
I absolutely loved this for my first grader. I wish I would have found this for her to use in Kindergarten. It is extremely easy to use and the activity packs make it so much more fun. She feels so encouraged to read and the books make reading an easy process. It's not overwhelming and so stress free. We will definitely be using this with out other 2 kids as well.
